Philippe Wahl | Apis Partners

Philippe Wahl served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of La Poste Group from 2013 to 2025.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and ENA, he began his career at the Conseil d’État before moving into senior roles in finance, banking and business.

He held key positions at Compagnie Bancaire and Paribas, CNCE (French Saving and Loans group), the Royal Bank of Scotland, and also led Havas before serving as Vice-Chairman of the Bolloré Group.

In 2011, he became CEO of La Banque Postale, then Chairman and CEO of La Poste Group in September 2013.

During his tenure, he led a major transformation of the Group, developing its parcels , financial services and digital activities while preserving its public-service role and taking a leadership position in corporate sustainable development .

In December 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Imagine Institute, dedicated to research and care for genetic diseases.

He is chairman of the Board of 'Le Bal' an association located in Paris and dedicated for research, exhibition and education about photography.
