Omar is a member of the investment team at Apis Partners and is based in Dubai. He has over six years of experience investing in and advising businesses across growth markets, with a track record spanning 10+ deals across private equity and investment banking.

At Apis, Omar has been involved in a number of notable transactions across growth and developed markets, including MNT-Halan Fund II and Fund III investments, Moneybox, the exit of Baobab, and the Pine Labs IPO on behalf of Actis.

Prior to joining Apis, Omar was an Investment Banking Analyst at CI Capital, one of Egypt’s leading investment banks, where he advised on ECM and M&A transactions across multiple sectors, including e-finance, Egypt’s largest fintech IPO.
